SATURDAY JULY 18TH FROM 8:00 PM UNTIL 9:30 PM AT CHEYENNE MOUNTAIN STATE PARK.

Cheyenne Mountain State Park is hosting our first event for National Moth Week (http://nationalmothweek.org) this year, and we'd love if you joined us!

We'll be using lights to attract moths (and other insects, probably). This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about these creatures as well as take some awesome photos.

The event is scheduled until 9:30 PM, but the park says we can stay as late as we'd like.

This is a free, and open to the public program. Every vehicle entering the park must have a State Parks pass, though. The daily pass is $7. There is a self service station beside the entrance station where you can buy a pass. Exact change or checks are accepted at the self serve station. Camper services will be open late this night to accept credit cards, also.

Camper services is actually where we will be meeting. The building is about 1.5 miles past the entrance gate to the park directly up the hill and on the right.

To get to the park (address 410 JL Ranch Heights Road):

Take Nevada Avenue south, which becomes Colorado State Highway 115 to JL Ranch Heights Road opposite the Main Gate One entrance to Fort Carson. Turn to the west to the park entrance.
