    Help With an ID

A former coworker of mine found this today at a power plant near the boulder area. It doesn't look like a CO native that I have seen, but I figured I would ask the experts.

    Thanks,

    Scott

    Hey Scott!! How's it going?

I know you stuck this thread under "tarantulas" but that's a wolf spider. I am so bad at id'ing wolf spiders so I can't say 100% on the species. I'm apt to say it's a Hogna carolinensis.

    Oops.

Sorry I was only given the picture and he usually only sends pics of Ts and scorps.
    Thanks for the help.

Things are going good here in wisconsin. How are things out there?

looks like a hogna carolinensis to me, even before reading what bell had to say. underside pic would prove it, just tell your coworker to pick it up and photo it's belly
