    Itchy day

So like the true knucklehead I am..... I went to clean Slugo's (goliath B) enclosure and figured he doesn't kick hairs so why use gloves....<--insert derogatory names here
Well he didn't kick but his substrate was covered...so know I sit wanting to claw my hands off..lol

Yup yup! Goliaths are notorious for lining the floor of their enclosure with hairs. Man oh man, I've always said I'd rather be bit than haired. Ugh! And haired by, like, the worst urticating hairs on a tarantula. I wonder if, like, calamine lotion or oatmeal would help the itching..?

Ive always treated hairs like fiberglass, start out running the hottest water you can stand over the ichy parts to open the poors in your skin then quickly switch to the coldest water you have, causeing your poors to close rapidly and expell the hair/fiberglass...seems to work well, hot water then tape works a bit too lol
