Maybe scales n tails, she has a respiratory infection. Her mate might have it too. I am checking to make sure I can take care of them before I get em. I went to the vet to see what i can do plus checking sites too. She is a sweet heart I hate to see her sick.

So did you end up buying her or is SnT letting you take her in before purchase? What vet you going to, also?

I had them put her on hold this morning after I scheduled the appt. I am going to buy her today before the vet appointment. The vet appt is coming out of my hide. I set up an appointment with Yorksire Vet on Dublin/Academy. I heard their Exotic doc is really good.

    Re: Beefcake

I picked her up and took her to Yorkshire. She saw Dr. Ko Bert and weighed in 30+ lbs. He checked her and and even did an ultrasound. Both him and his staff were awesome! I was given Baytril to give her oral every 72 hours. he gave her the first does to make sure I knew what to do and instead of just giving me a bottle and syringe he set up enough syringes to treat her for 2 weeks plus an extra one incase I spill it. I thought that was pretty cool.
He told me to get her temp up and humidity and gave me some really good ideas. I put her in the bathroom and turned on the shower next to her temporary cage. I also soaked towels in warm water in put them on her to get the humidity up while I moved the other snakes so I could quarantine her. It was a long process because I sanitized myself and anything I might have touched. F10 cleaner is awesome! Finally I got her moved into her own closet with humidifier on high and set her temp around 95. Then I went and sanitized everything again...lol
    I named her Nagina.

Day 2 - I have her in her own room with high heat and high humidity, I am cleaning her room/bowl daily with F10. I let her soak in the tub yesterday. Tomorrow is her 2nd med treatment. So far she is still wheezing but seems relaxed.

She is doing better. I got her new home completed yesterday and the heat panel from pro products just came in today. Just waiting on the thermostat . I made her a 5 1/2ft long, 3ft deep, 2ft tall home out of melamine. She'll move once i get the thermostat in. I hope she likes it

Not as bad, I clean her mouth daily to get the mucus out.
