    Snake-safe adhesive

I am cutting the top of my wooden cage to glue on a screen for a heat lamp. So the glue will be outside of the enclosure, just all around the hole! What glue or something should I use, how long until I put my snake back into the cage?

Ive always used cilicone for jobs like that, and it is safe for snakes but it must be competely cured before you add the snake back in, the fumes are bad when it is still wet... 2 part apoxy puddy is always safe but may be a little more expensive and might not work for what your trying to do...

So... Like... two days? three? Also I'm basically gluing a screen cut from a screen lid to a hole in some wood.

i give silicone 24 hours minimum, you could use strips of wood and screws tho, might work the best for what your doing.... u know, outline the screne edge with wood strips and use screws or nails to fasten the wood together with the screne edge in-between
