    How protected are Poecilotheria's

I know that they're on the IUCN red list, but what does that acually mean??
What's the best thing I can do to help protect them??
Should I tie myself to a tree in India??

i know some are more "protected" than others, so i guess it depends on some of the species.

best thing? hmm, i guess supporting captive breeding and not buying WC and encouraging others to do the same? that's if the tieing-to-tree method doesn't work
