    Wow! Gorgeous markings!!

Haha, we should start a support group like AA. "Call me when you're getting the urge to buy another snake. I'll talk you down." hahaha... j/k.... nothing to "talk down!"

Extra nice! Nothing beats a retic for personality. Just always take it out with a hook.

Thanks Bell, I might need agroup intervention....I keep telling my self just say no. Ha ha(it doesn't work). Rick, I have been just pulling him out with my hands and he hasnt shown any signs of aggression should I switch to a hook? Also do you recommend the boaphiles cages? Thanks.

Any snake can and will on occasion mistake a hand for food if its any kind of avid feeder. You will want to avoid that, esp. when the snake gets larger. And retics can get upwards of 15'. They can even get larger with a great deal of effort and a lot of luck! Be safe and enjoy!

What a beauty!! Love the markings. I'm glad it's showing a docile personality.

I'm no expert by any means but everything I have read indicates that hook training is the safest method to handling the giants. In my opinion any precaution that can help keep you and your animal safe is worth taking. I have also seen videos where a full paper towel roll is used to judge the snakes temperment before just sticking your hand in there.

A well fed snake and caution on your part will go a long way to keeping you safe. I imagine at some point it will probably bite you but let's hope it doesn't. My Burm was so close to tagging me the other day but again with a little caution and respect shouldn't be a problem.
